Today, my cousin and I browsed TJ Maxx in the Buena Park Mall. We managed to pick up two items; both at very reasonable prices.
TJ Maxx and its sister store, Marshall's, share some things in common like products, price ranges, and store layouts. What I like about these stores is that they both carry Stila, BareMinerals, OPI, ORLY, Butter London, Elf, Neutrogena, Maybelline, and other branded products at lower prices compared to makeup or department stores. So, if you're a makeup junkie looking for a less costly way to feed your addiction, then I advise you try swinging by the makeup aisle of these stores.
Another great thing about both stores is their amazing makeup clearance section. They separate marked down products from those at regular price, making it much easier for customers to find. Here is where you can find nail polishes, soaps, shadows, glosses, and other beauty products. I must warn that many of the products in this section are marked down for the reason that they are broken, old, or have been touched so be careful. To ensure that you're getting the good stuff, always check for the original price tag and seal to make sure that neither of them have been broken. Also, don't be afraid to open up the package if it isn't already.
Actually, neither of these items were on clearance. They were just reasonably priced. Considering the brand, quality, etc., these are a steal. Compare to makeup and department stores and you will find that you're, in a way, getting more than what you paid for.
The first item is this blush by Stila in the color "Self-adjusting Pink." For only $5.99, this blush is an intensely pigmented deep pink color, perfect for spring.
The next item is the Malibu fragrance by Juicy Couture. I got lucky with this one because its retail price is at least twice than what I paid for. For $19.99, I picked out a 1.3 fl oz bottle of this heavenly perfume.
